內容簡介：
3rd & Bird is atelevisionprogramme aimed at young children, commissioned byMichael Carringtonand broadcast on theBBC, which revolves around a community ofbirdsand their adventures. The series premiered onCBeebiesin July 2008. Described in its initial press release as "a charming new animated series all about community"[1], the programme format generally involves one or more of the characters encountering a problem which must be solved using the social skills which pre-school children must develop in order to make their way in the world.

「小鳥三號」(3rd & Bird)是英國廣播公司(BBC)最新動畫卡通，故事敘述在小鳥街三號裡，壹群可愛的小鳥們，每天發生的有趣故事。精緻動畫十分適合學齡前兒童觀賞。頂尖製作團隊打造全新風格動畫卡通，曾以「芝麻街」獲得十次艾美獎編劇殊榮的的Josh Seling，在「小鳥三號」裡擔綱編劇與導演，並由他的Little Airplane Productions公司製作，「小鳥三號」於2008年正式在BBC所屬兒童頻道CBeebies首度播出。

「小鳥三號」給予小朋友壹個在團體生活互助互信的精神概念，教導小朋友在社群生活中如何與他人相處，更重要的是，成為壹個主動積極的人，主動向人請教、主動與人學習…，在節目中可以看到許多有趣的活動，如同「三毛」和「菲菲」參與小鳥街三號裡的「遊行」、「幫助老者」、「蓋房子」等等活動。
